cancellation policy:
→As I am a private therapist, and because your appointment time may have been offered to another individual, I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you are required to cancel your appointment, I require 24 hours notice via email (preferred), telephone, or via the client portal. The full session cost will be invoiced for any late cancellations or no-shows.
How does this work for virtual sessions?
→Once your appointment has started, I will wait at my desk, with the Zoom meeting room open, for approximately 10 minutes. At that time, if you have not entered the virtual waiting room or made attempts to contact me, I will email you to notify you about the appointment and let you know I will be closing the session. At that point, the appointment is considered a “no-show,” and the cancellation policy will be implemented. When this occurs, I do not sit in front of my computer, continuously checking my email, phone, or waiting on Zoom. I will carry on with other responsibilities of my practice.
